he corporation was originally formed to fill a niche in the insurance market for clients who had difficulty in obtaining coverage from mainstream insurers, either because of the nature of their business or their physical location. Our group has now evolved into a specialist insurer concentrating on Marine Hull and Machinery business, Aviation, Fire & Allied Perils, Residual Value, Rental Default, Contractors All Risks, Financial Guarantees and Bonds, Facultative Reinsurance and Reinsurance Treaty business.
Our group enjoys the benefits of a board of directors and staff with a combined Insurance and Reinsurance experience of over one hundred years. Our experience covers all facets of Insurance and Reinsurance, from business production, through Underwriting of risks, to administration and accounting. Clients can be secure in knowing that ION appoints professional third party claims adjusters with guaranteed claim payments, and maintains loss reserves within each locale where business is written, for the payment of claims.
